Don’t forget to reserve your tickets for this year’s Stanford Society Festival Weekend taking place in Canterbury. Below are the ticket prices for each event at this year’s festival weekend and information on how to reserve your tickets.

Friday 3rd November
2:30pm – 4:00pm Walking tour of Canterbury £10 per person
4:00pm – 5:00pm Tea
5:30pm – 6:15pm Evensong – Cathedral
8:00pm – 10:00pm Stanford Concert – Cathedral £20 per person
Saturday 4th November
10:am – 11:00am Talk – Stanford and Vaughan Williams – Professor Jeremy Dibble. £6.25 per person
11:15am – 12:15pm Talk – Stanford’s Response to the First World War – Dr. Adele Commins. £6.25 per person
12:15pm – 1:30pm Lunch
1:30pm – 3:00pm Violin Recital – Madeline Mitchell (Professor of Violin – RCM) £10 per person
3:00pm – 3:30pm Tea
3:30pm – 5:00pm Choral Concert – Toonkunstkoor – Choir from Leiden in the Netherlands. £10 per person
5:30pm – 6:15pm Evensong
6:45pm – 7:15 pm Pre-concert talk – Professor Jeremy Dibble Admission free with concert ticket.
7:30pm – 10:00pm Canterbury Choral Society Concert – Canterbury Cathedral £24 per person
 
Sunday 5th November
11:00am – 12:30am Morning Service – Cathedral
12:30pm – 2:00pm Lunch
2:00pm – 4:00pm String Quartet Recital – The Dante Quartet £20 per ticket
4:00pm – 5:00pm Tea and Farewells

These events are also part of the 2017 Canterbury Arts Festival

To reserve tickets at the special Stanford Society pricing for the best available seating from the Society’s ticket allocation, please email your ticket requests to John Kennedy the Stanford Society Treasurer at  john.kennedy@bsigroup.com by October 11th, 2017.  He will advise on payment methods available.
