Don’t worry if you’ve never been to the Stanford Festival before, its a great place to meet like-minded music fans. The Festival includes music by other composers too such as Parry, Holst, Vaughan Williams and countless others.
The Stanford Festival is hosted once a year by the Stanford Society in a different city/town and encourages local musicians to take part for an excellent weekend of music making.
Dependant on where we are, there are all kinds of activities such as talks, demonstrations, concerts and services.
No Stanford Festival is complete without the Stanford Society Dinner! This is a great opportunity to get to know other Stanfordians and to enjoy a relaxed evening of good food.
So if you’re interested in coming along to a Stanford Festival, have a look to see where the next one is going to be or get in touch with the society, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re always open to suggestions for our next Festival location too!
